Assumed to be amphetamine

5 major substances detected:

  • N,N-di(beta-phenylisopropyl)amine

  • 1-phenyl-2-propanol

  • 4-methyl-5-phenylpyrimide

  • 1-phenyl-1-propanamine

  • 4-benzylpyrimidine

These five substances are impurities associated with amphetamine synthesis. The mass spectra were identified using the NIST and SWGDRUG libraries and consulting documentation of amphetamine synthesis - specifically the Leuckart Synthesis route.

And we also found traces of benzyl alcohol. Trace substances in small quantities are usually harmless, but can sometimes cause health problems. Unexpected sensations may be due to these.

There are a lot of different substances in this sample. We don't know the harms that some of these can cause. Be careful and be prepared for unexpected reactions.
